Freedom, in all forms, is only relative ? but there is a high price for it, sometimes paid in blood ?|When a tax collector commits suicide, having gambled everything away, Libertus is despatched to make enquiries. At the same time, he must attend a wedding in place of his patron. But as the assignment begins to take grisly and unexpected turns, Libertus realizes that freedom can come at a high price, sometimes paid in blood.
