"Uplifting, sexy and warm, Sarah Morgan's O'Neil Brothers series is perfection."—Jill Shalvis, New York Times bestselling author
This winter, ex-skiing champion, reformed heartbreaker and single dad Tyler O'Neil has only one mission—making sure his daughter, Jess, has the best Christmas ever. The fact that his best friend, Brenna, is also temporarily moving into his chalet at the overbooked Snow Crystal resort is a delicious distraction he's simply going to have to ignore. Theirs is the one relationship he's never ruined, and he's not about to start now.
Ski pro Brenna Daniels knows all about the perils of unrequited love—she's been in love with Tyler for years. But living with him is absolute torture... How can she concentrate on being his friend when he's sleeping in the room next door? Then when Tyler kisses Brenna, suddenly the relationship she's always dreamed of feels so close she could almost touch it. Could this be the Christmas her dreams of a happy-ever-after finally come true?

Morgan returns to return to Snow Crystal, Vt. for her lovely third O'Neil Brothers contemporary (after Suddenly Last Summer). An accident left star skier Tyler O'Neil unable to continue his career in athletics, and he heads back to the family resort to help out while raising his teen daughter, Jess. The resort's outdoor program director, Brenna Daniels, has been a friend of Tyler'sâand secretly in love with himâsince they were children. Too shy to speak up, Brenna has accepted that her feelings for Tyler will never be returned, but her friends Kayla and Elise, who are involved with the other two O'Neil brothers, are determined to change that. When the resort is overbooked for the holidays, Tyler and Brenna are forced to share a lodge, and soon their connection heats up. Morgan's beautifully rendered tale of seemingly unrequited love will strike a chord with readers. Agent: Sarah Ginsburg, Writers House.

Tyler O'Neil, former champion skier, confirmed bachelor, and anxious dad, is determined to be a good father and make sure, among other things, that his teenage daughter, Jess, has a perfect Christmas. But with limited experience at being a parent, Tyler needs help, and his longtime friend ski pro Brenna Daniels is the perfect person to ask. Jess wants her dad to be happy, too, and for that she thinks he needs to date--maybe someone like Brenna. Risking a solid friendship for uncertain love is not an easy gamble to take--but it may be well worth the effort. Sharp humor, snappy dialog, and memorable characters are pluses in this engaging contemporary romance. VERDICT Two friends finally give in to their feelings in this title that brims with Vermont small-town warmth and begs for a hot cup of cocoa. Morgan (Suddenly Last Summer) lives in Windsor, West Berkshire, UK.
